POSITION SUMMARY:

The Product Coordinator is responsible for creating and executing the roadmap for our company's products to meet the needs of our customers. This role involves gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and collaborating closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and technical support teams to meet revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction goals. The Product Coordinator also ensures that the product aligns with the company's overall strategy and objectives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining the product roadmap based on a strategic vision.
  • Researching and defining product performance, cost, and price requirements.
  • Assisting in the formulation and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for new and existing product lines.
  • Creating and managing product literature to support sales and service activities.
  • Acting as a Scrum Master in a hardware environment, including organizing daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Identifying and removing obstacles or barriers that could hinder progress, ensuring the team has the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality products.
  • Establishing and monitoring the critical path within the product roadmap to ensure timely product releases and implementing risk management plans to mitigate delays.
  • Tracking the team's progress and providing visibility into project status, such as sprint progress, velocity, and burndown charts.
  • Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of competitive products and evaluating new technologies for their impact on the market.
  • Creating written competitive product comparisons to support sales and marketing activities.
  • Providing comprehensive product training for sales and marketing staff.
  • Offering technical support for sales, customer service, operations, and service teams.
  • Leading beta test programs.
  • Meeting and engaging with customers to support sales efforts and identify new product development opportunities.
  • Attending trade shows and meetings as required to support business activities.
  • Performing any additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, service, or marketing in a related industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management or scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and customers.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in HVAC.
  • Experience in designing or servicing control systems for industrial HVAC.
  • Experience providing in-depth technical support for instrumentation in a related field.
  • Familiarity with flow measurement instrumentation.
