Description

Summary

Our company is seeking a highly organized and communicative Project Coordinator to join our team. We focus on developing and supplying antenna and RF system products to meet the demands of both the Department of Defense and critical commercial customers. As a part of the Program Management department, you will represent our company's interests and work on various R&D and Production contracts, ensuring that the Project Teams are well-informed and on track. The projects range in scale from prototype projects to large-scale production orders. This role encompasses aspects of engineering, business, and leadership, and requires a diverse range of skills to ensure technical excellence, financial responsibility, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and manage project plans and budgets to facilitate decision-making.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the projects and associated contractual, technical, and quality documentation.
  • Manage the project calendar.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Schedule and record project meetings.
  • Identify, track, and resolve project issues.
  • Ensure the Project Team meets stakeholder needs.
  • Prepare cost and schedule proposals for new programs.
  • Facilitate program communication and information flow by maintaining project files.
  • Provide project status updates to upper management.
  • Coordinate with Contracts and Finance to ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
  • Allocate resources across a portfolio of projects.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Work Environment

This job is performed in a professional office environment and involves the use of standard office equipment, such as laptops and photocopiers.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally. Visual abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Physical tasks may include lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and standing on a stool if necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position requiring at least 40 hours per week. Typical office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, but may vary depending on workload and management's discretion. Additional hours may be required as needed.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Reside in Colorado
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Ability to thrive in a self-motivated environment with minimal boundaries and competing priorities
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of 3 years' relevant experience
  • Ability to identify cost and schedule risks/opportunities and engage technical support as needed
  • Desire to solve new and challenging problems

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Proven experience contributing to multidisciplinary engineering projects
  • Experience in R&D and FAR proposal activities
