Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan civil construction projects in line with project requirements and engineering standards.
- Manage project budgets to ensure profitability and address budget variances.
- Create and update project schedules with realistic timelines for future tasks.
- Oversee project quality control to ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and client contracts.
- Enforce safety policies and foster a strong safety culture.
- Maintain project documentation and prepare reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with field management to resolve discrepancies between project plans and site execution.
- Approve equipment or personnel changes submitted by superintendents.
- Escalate issues to upper management and communicate effectively.
- Organize and assign project staff based on project needs.
- Conduct weekly project team meetings to review scheduling and costs.
- Provide financial projections of project performance and submit payment requisitions.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of contract terms, specifications, and reasons for delays.
- Oversee subcontracts and supplier purchase orders.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
