The ideal candidate should have experience in both public and private projects to fulfill this role.
This position serves as a senior member of our client services team, providing leadership, direction, training, and mentoring to junior staff within the organization. It also involves coordination with clients, other teams, and personnel within the firm to ensure project completion.
As a senior-level member of the client services team, you will be responsible for organizing, leading, and managing junior-level technical personnel in the production of construction plans for clients and contractors.
Essential Job Duties
- Plan, organize, and lead daily engineering activities of assigned staff to meet client, team, and corporate goals.
- Serve as a technical consultant or leader in tasks and projects.
- Act as the primary contact for clients regarding engineering aspects, facilitating good communication among all parties involved.
- Attend client meetings to fully understand project requirements and contribute to proposal preparation.
- Assist in preparing proposals, including scope of work, pricing, time schedule, and resource requirements.
- Review and approve project tasks and work products to ensure they meet client objectives and comply with regulations.
- Coordinate with government agencies and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Identify additional work requested by clients and manage change orders.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 8 years of experience in land and site development.
- Professional Engineers' (P.E.) License in the State of Georgia.
- Proficiency in CAD software is required.
