Apartment Complex Supervisor
Location: Okemos, MI
We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our apartment community in Okemos, MI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the property's financial information, making projections, and identifying areas for improvement. You will also handle marketing, supervise staff, and provide services to residents under the guidance of the regional manager. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Implementing and enforcing community policies
- Maintaining property financial goals and reports
- Achieving occupancy goals
- Building and developing leasing and maintenance staff
- Planning office schedules and assignments
- Overseeing property operations and maintenance
- Conducting tours and addressing resident inquiries
- Resolving resident concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Developing property leasing and marketing plans
- Engaging in marketing outreach within the community
- Leading maintenance team and collaborating with supervisor
- Managing large-scale capital projects
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of Property Management experience required
- Effective communication skills with staff and supervisors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Entrata or related programs a plus
- Strong customer service skills and positive attitude
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Experience with budgeting and variance reporting required
- Lease up experience preferred
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflict
- Team-oriented and works well in a team setting
- High-school diploma, bachelor's degree a plus
- Pass background screening and drug test
- Valid Driver's License with auto insurance
- Required Saturday work on a rotating schedule, with a day off during the week
