Job Responsibilities
The Senior Property Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple apartment communities, working to enhance the value of the properties. They will assist in organizing the properties' financial information, using it to make projections and identify areas for improvement. Key responsibilities will include marketing and outreach, overseeing property staff, and providing services to residents. The Senior Property Manager reports directly to the Regional Manager. This position is ideal for a team player who is motivated to establish and maintain high standards that set their property apart.
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the property's financial goals
- Controlling costs and meeting budgeted numbers
- Ensuring timely submission of invoices
- Completing reports on property condition and financial performance
- Meeting occupancy goals
- Developing leasing and maintenance staff
- Planning office schedules and task assignments
- Maintaining property appearance
- Conducting tours and answering inquiries from prospective residents
- Addressing resident concerns and ensuring overall resident satisfaction
- Implementing and enforcing community policies
- Using marketing strategies to attract prospective residents
- Engaging in outreach within the nearby community
- Collaborating with maintenance supervisor on projects and maintenance needs
- Maintaining a safe and positive living environment
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience as a Property Manager required
- Experience overseeing a large community of 350+ units
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff and supervisors, with leadership skills to manage a large team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Entrata or similar programs is a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills with a sales background
- Strong communication skills
- A positive and motivated demeanor
- High energy and a positive attitude
- Experience with high-rise and lease-up properties is a plus
- High school diploma, bachelor's degree is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to pass a background screening and drug test
- Valid driver's license with valid auto insurance
- Rotating Saturdays are required, with schedule adjustments

- Must have experience with large communities, 350+ units, high-rise experience preferred
- 2-3 years of experience as a Property Manager required
- Must have valid license and auto insurance
- Saturdays are required, rotating at least once per month from 9:30am to 4pm. Schedule adjustment provided, with one day off during the week for Saturday work.
- Standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm with a one-hour lunch break
