Procurement Specialist

Location: Adrian, MI

Our client is a globally recognized manufacturer specializing in the production of highly intricate machinery. Headquartered in Adrian, MI, they are currently seeking an immediate addition to their team in the form of a procurement or manufacturing professional. While prior experience in mechanical components such as machined parts and castings is preferred, it is not a compulsory requirement.

They are open to consider individuals who possess a limited purchasing background but have a strong technical aptitude in either engineering or manufacturing of machined or other fabricated metal products, and are eager to embark on a career in procurement and supply chain management.

Key responsibilities for this role will involve negotiating pricing with suppliers, identifying potential new suppliers, and as such, the ideal candidate should have a demonstrated proficiency or keen interest in commercial negotiations.
