Paper Product Quality Control Supervisor - Syracuse, NY
Our client is a renowned International Manufacturer specializing in paper products and specialty coatings. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to oversee our quality department at our premier manufacturing plant in North America, conveniently located just north of Syracuse, NY. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customers' quality specifications, managing customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing effective countermeasures. You will serve as the quality assurance liaison between Production, Supply Chain, Product Management, Sales, and Suppliers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and expanding company situated in a low-cost living region of Upstate New York. While onsite work is required, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote arrangement upon approval from the VP of Operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- 3 to 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a Continuous Process manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in paper product converting, coating, and basic quality testing and statistics.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Proficiency in Complaint systems and other Business Management software. SAP experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal operations, customers, suppliers, and international colleagues.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, along with a 10% annual bonus.
