Salary: $85,000 - $95,000
Job Summary of the Quality & Manufacturing Process Engineer: The Manufacturing/Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing manufacturing processes to ensure the production of high-quality products. This position focuses on refining and optimizing processes to ensure efficiency and quality, with an emphasis on successful integration of new designs into production.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Quality & Manufacturing Process Engineer:
· Interpret technical documentation to create precise drawings based on engineering specifications
· Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
· Lead the implementation of new production methods for product launches and updates
· Collaborate with design teams to transition product concepts into scalable manufacturing processes
· Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions for enhanced performance
· Support pre-production validation and process readiness activities
· Drive quality assurance initiatives and implement preventive measures for risk mitigation
· Utilize lean manufacturing tools to optimize processes and increase efficiency
· Lead improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with process requirements and customer expectations
· Provide training on new processes and updated standards to operational staff
Education & Experience of the Quality & Manufacturing Process Engineer:
· Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
· Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering in an industrial environment
· Proficient in ERP systems, ISO quality standards, and process optimization techniques
· Experience in industrial/heavy-duty products is advantageous
· Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD tools with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
· Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, and Six Sigma is preferred
· Proficient in leveraging ERP systems to enhance operational efficiencies
