-Required: Associate’s Degree in Radiology or related program and valid KY State license.
-Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
-Possession of a Kentucky State Radiation Operators License.
Hours and Compensation:
Full-time positions are available during three different shifts: (Monday-Thursday 9pm-6:30am)(Fri-Sun 7p-7am)(Fri-Sun 9am-9pm).
The salary will range from 43K-65K and includes a $2.25 per hour shift differential. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided, along with the possibility of a sign-on or relocation bonus.
Responsibilities:
-Review patient medical history and physician's orders. Inform patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
-Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications when necessary, within the scope of practice. Continuously monitor patient condition and promptly report/respond to any changes.
-Prepare equipment and supplies. Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Follow safety standards and conduct quality control procedures on equipment. Take appropriate actions to address equipment malfunctions.
-Implement safety protocols and perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment. Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions as required.
-Position patients and perform imaging procedures. Analyze results and identify any issues with image quality. Take necessary steps to resolve image quality problems, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures. Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
