Veterinary Medicine Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Philadelphia, PA

The Veterinary Medicine Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and evaluating external candidates with a focus on Doctors of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in Philadelphia, PA. They will utilize various recruitment techniques, including partnerships with University and Professional Association channels, to attract top talent.

The primary responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist include effectively engaging candidates and internal client groups throughout the recruitment and selection process. They will also provide coaching and guidance to internal clients to influence decision making during the recruitment process.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in executing the recruitment process
  • Identify and attract talented candidates nationwide to build a scalable candidate pipeline
  • Implement creative sourcing strategies and practices, including leveraging multiple social media platforms
  • Develop and maintain an organized pipeline of candidates
  • Support digital and print marketing efforts for job postings and pipeline building
  • Participate in career fairs, professional association events, and other recruitment opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver offer letters to selected candidates
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager and company leaders to understand staffing needs
  • Maintain relationships with external Recruitment Services/Partners
  • Work with other DVM Recruiters to ensure a smooth and efficient candidate process

Requirements:

  • Experience in full cycle recruiting
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
