Job Title: Regional Irrigation Sales Manager

Location: Lubbock, Texas

We are an international irrigation company that specializes in the agriculture market. Currently, we are expanding our presence in the Texas to Alabama region and are in need of a skilled sales professional who can work directly with dealers and distributors.

Applicants must have previous sales experience in irrigation or related sectors of agriculture. Additionally, candidates should have an engineering or technical degree and be comfortable getting hands-on when necessary.

This position requires a careful balance of knowledge about the agricultural market, as well as experience with customer-facing roles, technical expertise, and a strong sales orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales activities in the territory, including providing sales, marketing, and technical support to dealers, consulting engineers, end-users, and other sales representatives.
  • Offer pre- and post-sales support.
  • Provide technical consultation about our products to potential irrigation customers, designers, architects, and engineers.
  • Support and manage dealers and distributors.
  • Be prepared to travel extensively within the territory.

Background

  • Prior technical experience in the agriculture irrigation market.
  • Knowledge and experience in sales targeting the irrigation and pump industry.
  • Proven ability in solution-based selling.
  • Experience conducting product seminars for large professional groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with sound judgment, diplomacy, and analytical skills.
  • Aptitude for performing financial calculations, forecasting, budget creation, and management.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the irrigation industry.
