Regional Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive retail sales strategies that are aligned with company objectives, market trends, and consumer behavior to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and motivate a team of retail sales managers and representatives to meet individual and team sales goals. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
- Sales Performance Tracking: Establish effective mechanisms, dashboards, and reporting systems to monitor sales progress, identify challenges, and make data-driven decisions to improve sales performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with product launches, promotional campaigns, and inventory management.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the retail sales budget, allocating resources efficiently to support sales activities, incentives, and promotions.
- Performance Metrics: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for the retail sales team and regularly review performance against these metrics. Take corrective actions when needed to achieve objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated track record of 8-10 years in progressively responsible retail sales roles, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership position.
- Currently leading a group of District Managers in a specialty store environment.
- Strong understanding of retail industry dynamics, consumer behavior, and market trends.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analyzing sales metrics and market data to inform decision-making.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with retail partners and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using sales management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and achieve sales targets.
