Position: Regional Sales Manager – Water Treatment Industry
Location: Northeast – New Jersey
A global water company with expertise in the field of water treatment solutions is seeking a qualified individual to oversee their operations in the northeastern region.
This company specializes in designing, manufacturing, and operating water and wastewater treatment plants for various industries, municipalities, and agricultural sectors.
The selected individual will be responsible for expanding the company's presence in the Northeast market and will need to possess strong sales skills to effectively work with dealers and distributors.
Candidates must have prior sales experience in the water treatment and filtration sectors, as well as an engineering or technical degree.
Responsibilities
·Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory, including providing support to dealers, consulting engineers, end-users, and other sales representatives.
·Offer pre- and post-sales support to current and potential dealers. Conduct product seminars and provide technical consulting.
- Provide technical consulting on company's products to current and prospective dealers.
- Manage and support dealers and distributors.
- Extensive travel within the assigned territory.
Background
- Solid technical experience in the industrial water treatment and filtration market.
- Knowledge and experience in selling to the water industry.
- Proven ability to effectively sell solutions.
·Experience in conducting product seminars to large professional groups.
·Demonstrated independence, sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability, and professional demeanor.
·Able to perform financial calculations, forecasting, and budget management.
Education and Experience
·Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
·3-5 years of similar experience, with familiarity in water treatment and filtration.
