Food Sales Representative
Remote Work Opportunity in CA, NV, AZ.
We are seeking a Food Sales Representative to maintain and cultivate relationships with over 30 food distributors across 19 Western US states, primarily in CA, NV, and AZ.
As a manufacturer of frozen, premium, all-natural sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends, we rely on our distributors to sell our products to restaurants, resorts and hotels, bars, cruise lines, and specialty gourmet manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will be to maintain and grow market share, ensure customer satisfaction, exceed sales and profitability goals, and manage a Sales Representative.
You will identify revenue-generating opportunities with distributor accounts, track industry trends, improve service and sales methods, and take advantage of sales reporting, online research, event leads, and other resources. Your use of a CRM system will be essential in capturing all customer engagement.
Working closely with the Director of Sales, you will review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales data for the region, contribute to the annual budget planning process, and devise communication strategies to address operational support needs.
Qualifications / Requirements:
We require a BA/BS degree.
You should have at least 3 years of experience in food sales, specifically selling to foodservice distributors.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Excel on a daily basis is necessary.
You should be able to prepare and utilize 30/60/90-day plans and possess skills in data analysis, sales reporting, product training, and trade show planning.
This role requires approximately 50% travel with accessible airports.
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $90-95K, along with a 20% bi-annual bonus.
