Food Sales Representative

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Remote / Reside in CA, NV, AZ. Responsible for maintaining and developing a network of 30+ food distributors across 19 states in the Western US, primarily in CA, NV, and AZ.

We are a manufacturer of high-quality, frozen sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends. Our products are distributed through our network of distributors to various establishments such as restaurants, resorts and hotels, bars, cruise lines, and specialty gourmet manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing and growing a network of 30+ food distributors in the Western US, with a focus on CA, NV, and AZ. Your main goal will be to increase market share, ensure customer satisfaction, and achieve the company's sales and profitability targets. Additionally, you will oversee the work of one Sales Representative.

Your responsibilities will also include identifying revenue opportunities with distributor accounts, analyzing market trends, finding ways to improve service and sales, and leveraging various resources such as sales reporting, online research, and event leads. You will be expected to utilize our CRM system to track all customer interactions.

You will collaborate with the Director of Sales to review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales data for your territory. Additionally, you will contribute to the annual budget planning process and ensure effective communication strategies for operational support.

Qualifications / Requirements:

A bachelor's degree is required.

You should have at least 3 years of experience in food sales, specifically selling to foodservice distributors.

Proficiency in using CRM software and Excel on a daily basis is essential.

You should be able to create and implement 30/60/90-day plans and have experience in data analysis, sales reporting, product training, and trade show planning.

This position requires approximately 50% travel, with easy airport accessibility.

Compensation:

We offer a base salary of $90-95K, along with a 20% bi-annual bonus. In addition, we provide 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, an EAP program, a 401K plan, and profit sharing of approximately 12% annually.
