This position will be based in the company's regional office in Nashville.

Skills and Experience:

As a senior level position, the Construction Project Coordinator will oversee scheduling responsibilities for large commercial projects or small projects. The main responsibilities include assembling and analyzing project information, preparing clear and comprehensive documents to identify and resolve design discrepancies, and improving project planning and scheduling efficiency. The Coordinator will collaborate with the project team and trade partners to develop detailed schedules, monitor projects based on set schedules, and analyze design deliverables, procurement, and construction schedules. Additionally, the Coordinator will produce reports detailing project status. This role requires the application of planning and cost techniques, as well as problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
  • Proficient in ERP cost management tools
  • Proficient in Primavera 6
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Broad understanding of construction disciplines
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of previous industrial or commercial construction experience
  • B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred

Essential Job Duties:

The Regional Project Scheduler is responsible for overseeing all project scheduling activities for assigned projects. The Regional Scheduler will create a schedule based on their knowledge and understanding of schedule development and the construction industry.

  • Create conceptual schedules with input from the project team
  • Strong proficiency in scheduling and 3D modeling is desirable
  • Maintain a database of probable schedule durations and overall durations
  • Develop the baseline overall schedule using well-defined and properly sequenced work activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates, forecasts, and reports on project scheduling activities
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop project schedule layouts, alternate schedules, and progress measurement
  • Review and critique monthly updates to the schedule from Vendors and Subcontractors
  • Ensure updates accurately reflect the accomplished work
  • Understand project flow and logistics
  • Support ongoing projects by providing project status updates, identifying improvement opportunities, and proposing work-around plans to stay on track
  • Perform other duties as requested by project management
