Your Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch and compassionate patient care. You will build therapeutic connections with patients and families, oversee and support your healthcare team through effective communication, delegation, and mentorship.

Main Duties:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments upon admission and during treatment
  • Create personalized care plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary team
  • Timely and accurate documentation of all care activities, observations, and changes
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge instructions
  • Assign and supervise team members such as LPNs, PCAs, Ortho Techs, ED Clerks, etc.
  • Promote safety and quality enhancements by participating in performance programs
  • Ensure effective hand-offs and contribute to team meetings and care transitions
  • Maintain annual competencies and follow regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Canada and eligibility for Alabama RN license
  • Open to NEW Graduates or individuals with at least 1 year of acute care experience
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (Preferably BSN)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross (Required upon start or within 6 months)
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Specialty certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC are advantageous for specific unit roles
