Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Night Shift - Tulsa, OK

Join our team and be part of the extraordinary journey of childbirth! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery unit in Tulsa, OK. This position is specifically for night shifts.

In this fulfilling role, you will provide outstanding nursing care to expectant mothers and their families throughout the labor and delivery process. Your expertise and critical thinking abilities will ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby, as you collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients in labor, including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being.
• Create and evaluate personalized nursing care plans based on patients' conditions and medical care plans.
• Maintain constant monitoring of fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, interpreting data and taking appropriate actions when necessary.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including pain management techniques.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout the entire labor and delivery experience.
• Assist with both vaginal and cesarean births, delivering expert nursing care during the delivery process.
• Effectively collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to obstetric emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold all hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) and Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• Obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications within 6 months of hire.

Preferred:

• At least one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Labor and Delivery.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $65,000 - $82,000 annually (depending on experience).
• Signing Bonus: $20,000
