Postpartum Registered Nurse - Night Shift

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Postpartum unit for night shifts in beautiful Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a member of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of new families.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of postpartum patients.
- Create and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on medical care plans and hospital policies.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to interventions.
- Provide education and support to new mothers and their families on topics such as newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, lactation consultants, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations.
Job Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
- Current and valid Oklahoma license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a relevant clinical setting.
- Two (2+) years of experience specifically in a mother/baby (postpartum) unit.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $65,000 - $82,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
- Signing Bonus: $20,000
