Remote Personal Injury Lawyer
Please Note: This position is remote.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a commission-based role with potential earnings ranging from $100,000 to $400,000+ in the first year.
- Immediate income is derived from existing cases managed by paralegals
- Attorneys receive 10% of net collections up to $1M, and 15% beyond $1M
- Most attorneys earn around $3M annually, resulting in $400K in income
- Each attorney is supported by 3 paralegals
- Typical workload consists of about 100 active cases
- This role involves direct client interaction, a focus on entrepreneurship, and high income potential

Job Description
- Client Consultation and Case Evaluation
- Engage with clients to discuss personal injury claims.
- Collect and analyze information (such as medical records, accident reports, witness statements).
- Determine liability and identify accountable parties.
- Negotiation and Settlement
- Communicate and negotiate with insurance companies and opposing legal representatives.
- Assess settlement offers and advise clients accordingly.
- Negotiate compensation for medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, pain, and suffering.
- Documentation and Case Preparation
- Compose and draft demand letters.
- Organize and compile evidence, medical records, accident reports.
- Accurately calculate damages.
- Client Communication
- Maintain consistent communication with clients.
- Educate clients on the legal process and manage expectations.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
- Explore mediation or arbitration methods.
- Legal Research and Strategy
- Stay informed on relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop effective legal strategies.
- Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with the legal team, medical professionals, and experts.
- Case Management
- Maintain precise case records and monitor critical deadlines.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Experience with Aderant Total Office is a significant advantage.
- Solid grasp of personal injury laws.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple cases.
- Proficient in legal research, case management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Empathetic and client-oriented approach.
- Previous experience in pre-litigation personal injury work is preferred.
- Bilingual/Spanish proficiency is advantageous.
