THE ROLE:
Multiple and ongoing retail projects have created openings for Superintendents. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, managing field and subcontractor personnel, ensuring high-quality work, maintaining construction safety practices, and completing projects on schedule and within budget. This position requires travel within the Carolinas, Georgia, or Eastern TN, as well as occasional night work.

• Coordinate and supervise construction activities
• Ensure project completion on schedule, within budget, and according to plans and specifications
• Manage construction schedule, solve problems, order materials, and schedule inspections
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and employees
• Provide reports, enforce job site safety, and enforce compliance with company safety policies
• Effectively manage job site organization and logistics
• Collaborate with project managers on subcontractor scopes of work and budget management
• Facilitate pre-construction meetings and review submittals for compliance and coordination
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to company standards

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

• 4 to 6 years of experience supervising remodel and upfit projects
• Strong skills in scheduling, ordering, quality control, safety, and construction production
• Prior experience in retail remodel or upfit for Publix and/or Walmart
