RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for managing and overseeing retail renovation projects. The Renovation Manager will coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor personnel, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, the Renovation Manager will maintain high-quality standards, implement construction safety practices, manage job site operations, and finalize projects.
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities
- Ensure completion of projects on schedule, within budget, and according to plans and specifications
- Manage construction schedule and solve problems as they arise
- Order materials and schedule necessary inspections
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and employees
- Prepare reports, schedules, and punch lists
- Promote job site safety and ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Conduct progress meetings and review job cost reporting
- Review subcontractor scopes of work and provide feedback
- Manage staging plans and site logistics
- Collaborate with project managers to schedule pre-construction meetings
- Review submittals for compliance and coordination
- Ensure quality work is being performed by all parties involved in the project
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 to 6 years of experience in leading crews or supervising remodel/upfit work
- Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production
- Experience with retail remodel or upfit projects for Publix and/or Walmart
This position requires strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
