Retail Renovation Manager
Location: Columbia, SC

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for managing and overseeing retail renovation projects. The Renovation Manager will coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor personnel, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, the Renovation Manager will maintain high-quality standards, implement construction safety practices, manage job site operations, and finalize projects.

• Coordinate and supervise construction activities
• Ensure completion of projects on schedule, within budget, and according to plans and specifications
• Manage construction schedule and solve problems as they arise
• Order materials and schedule necessary inspections
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and employees
• Prepare reports, schedules, and punch lists
• Promote job site safety and ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Conduct progress meetings and review job cost reporting
• Review subcontractor scopes of work and provide feedback
• Manage staging plans and site logistics
• Collaborate with project managers to schedule pre-construction meetings
• Review submittals for compliance and coordination
• Ensure quality work is being performed by all parties involved in the project

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in leading crews or supervising remodel/upfit work
• Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production
• Experience with retail remodel or upfit projects for Publix and/or Walmart

This position requires strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
