• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar work.
• Past experience in physician billing, leadership, and Epic.
• Demonstrated knowledge in patient registration, billing, accounts receivable and cash management, managed care contractual terms, financial reporting, and healthcare revenue cycle management practices.
• Ability to lead and manage diverse staff in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Management skills emphasizing team building and individual contribution.
• Ability to interpret 3rd party payer contract requirements and implement procedures for compliance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• This is a full-time position with occasional onsite presence (1-2 times per month) and requires someone within a 1-1.5 hour drive.
• The salary range is $77K-105K (midpoint $91K for someone with around 10 years of experience) depending on experience.

• Manage and actively participate in revenue cycle operations to ensure a high-functioning department.
• Plan, organize, and direct patient accounting functions for hospital and professional billing.
• Supervise daily operations of billing, follow up, and denial processes.
• Determine work schedules, monitor performance, resolve technical and project issues, and provide staff education.

• The position reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle, a well-respected individual within the organization.
• Person will have approximately 28 direct reports and work within the Physician Billing Department.
