What they seek:
•Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a similar role required.
•Experience in physician billing, leadership, and Epic software preferred.
•Extensive knowledge in patient registration, billing, accounts receivable, cash management, managed care terms, financial reporting, and healthcare revenue cycle practices.
•Ability to lead and manage a diverse team in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Must be able to make necessary adjustments to ensure workload balance.
•Strong management skills with a focus on team building and providing clear direction, while also being an individual contributor.
•Skill in interpreting 3rd party payer contracts, designing compliance procedures, and negotiating with insurance vendors to facilitate the denial management process.
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to expedite revenue cycle processes and mitigate financial impact on the organization.
Hours and compensation:
•Full-time position with hybrid work arrangement (onsite 3-4 times per month, ideally within 1-1.5 hour drive).
•Salary range between $75,000 - $80,000 depending on experience level.

Responsibilities:
•Oversee and actively participate in hospital and medical group revenue cycle operations to maintain an efficient department.
•Plan, organize, and lead patient accounting functions for hospital and professional billing.
•Supervise daily billing, follow-up, and denial processes. Determine work schedules, monitor performance, address technical issues, and provide staff training.

•Reports to the respected Director of Revenue Cycle, overseeing approximately 28 direct reports within the Physician Billing Department.
