What we're looking for:

  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
  • One year of experience in the emergency department preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas, or immediate eligibility.
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment and Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of employment.

Hours and compensation potential:

  • This is a full-time night shift position.
  • Hourly pay ranges from $40.00 to $48.00, depending on experience.
  • $4.50 per hour shift differential for night shifts.
  • Comprehensive benefits package included, along with a sign-on bonus of $12,000 to $20,000.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide professional nursing care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, utilizing the nursing process.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients.
  • Advocate for patients within the healthcare system.
  • Perform specialized patient care tasks requiring advanced training and skills.
  • Ensure safety, comfort, and treatment of patients in line with legal, ethical, professional, and institutional standards.
  • Participate in the hospital's Quality Improvement and Service Excellence programs.
