As a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating patients' conditions, identifying appropriate nursing diagnoses, and developing and implementing care plans
- Advocating for ethical and holistic care by actively participating in care planning
- Creating a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensuring patient safety, integrating evidence-based practices, and utilizing data to improve outcomes
- Continuously engaging in professional development and promoting a culture of inquiry and evidence-based practice
- Leading and coordinating teams, delegating tasks, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Certification
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics Certification
- 2+ years of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Certification in the specialty area
