Robotic Automation Technician

This company specialized in custom automation engineering design and is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Robotic Automation Technician. They are involved in both building machines from scratch and manufacturing standard products that are sold globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and documents.
  • Troubleshooting robotic and automation equipment.
  • Programming robotic automation equipment and systems.
  • Programming and integrating vision systems.
  • Interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and documents.
  • Documenting as required.
  • Participating in troubleshooting and testing processes.
  • Overseeing the work of robotic equipment assemblers.
The qualified candidate should possess the following background to be considered:
  • An engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing equipment with robotic automation or Programmable Logic Controls.
  • At least two years of experience in troubleshooting robotic automation systems.
  • At least two years of experience in programming robotic automation equipment modules.
  • At least two years of experience in programming and integrating vision systems.
  • At least two years of experience in setting up and integrating robotic automated equipment.
  • At least two years of experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • At least two years of experience utilizing Fronius or SKS for weld equipment integration.
  • Experience in interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and documents.
  • A stable work history with proven track record.
  • Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Must reside within a 45-minute drive of the Brown Deer area.
