Our client, a leader in the plastic processing industry with over 150 years of experience, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Remote Rubber Supervisor in Topeka, KS.

Summary: This position offers remote work from anywhere in the US.

The Remote Rubber Supervisor will be responsible for planning and overseeing installation projects for the Engineering Field Services (EFS) business unit. This includes estimating labor, expenses, materials, and subcontractors based on customer requests. The Supervisor will also support the sales team in proposal development and provide on-site management for field service projects.

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Field Service Manager and Sales team in identifying project leads and maintaining customer contacts
  • Preparing resource estimates and lists of required materials, tools, and equipment
  • Planning and procuring manpower, tools, and equipment for field service projects
  • Managing field service projects, including delegating work and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines
  • Maintaining tooling inventory and overseeing equipment maintenance
  • Processing payroll and expense reports and maintaining communication with customers
  • Ensuring project quality and compliance with ISO requirements


  • Knowledge of heavy machinery mechanical installations required
  • Knowledge of rubber processing machinery and in-plant processes preferred
  • Knowledge of piping system installation, steel erection, concrete demolition and placement, and general construction experience preferred
  • OSHA 10 minimum required: OSHA 30 preferred
  • Intermediate computer and word processing skills, in particular Microsoft Office, Project and AutoCAD
  • Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record and passport
  • Available to travel on short notice
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present information, and answer questions clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data or information, address work-related issues and problems using logic and reasoning
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and work independently with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
