We are seeking a Safety Administrator to provide essential assistance for safety programs and compliance activities. Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of safety programs aimed at minimizing workplace incidents and fostering a proactive safety culture.
  • Assist with compliance efforts by maintaining safety records and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Participate in monitoring essential safety metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct basic safety inspections to ensure effective management of workplace hazards, including monitoring exposure to chemicals and noise.
  • Provide administrative support for safety training, including scheduling sessions, preparing materials, and updating training records.
  • Distribute safety bulletins and communicate updates to employees to enhance safety awareness.
  • Assist in preparing reports for OSHA compliance and provide support for internal audits or safety inspections as required.
  • Act as a liaison for employee safety inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior safety personnel.
  • Perform general safety-related duties and offer support for projects as directed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree or coursework in Environmental Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a safety or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of OSHA regulations and general health and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage documentation.
  • Strong communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable with data entry and basic reporting tasks.
