Currently seeking local candidates for the position of Safety and Environmental Coordinator in Fillmore, CA. Only commutable candidates will be considered at this time.

Applicants must possess a minimum of two years of experience in a plant EHS role, with a strong focus on safety. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and plant level safety experience is highly preferred.

The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, implement, and oversee the site's EHS programs and procedures. This includes ensuring employee safety and compliance with regulations. As the sole safety professional for the plant, the coordinator will investigate accidents, promote safety-conscious work performance, and develop training programs. They will also measure safety performance and conduct root cause analyses.

In addition to safety, the coordinator will also be responsible for environmental compliance, specifically in areas such as spray booths, water runoff, and storage containers.
