Plant Safety Specialist

Location: Rockaway, NJ

Minimum requirement of (2-3) years of experience in plant safety in general manufacturing operations and a Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental or a related technical field. We are seeking a Plant Safety Specialist to join our team at our Rockaway, NJ location. This role will be part of the plant's EHS Department and will support safety initiatives for our large, union manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Plant EHS Manager, the Plant Safety Specialist will ensure that the plant's EHS processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements and expectations.

This position also offers excellent career growth opportunities, including the potential for advancement into other EHS leadership roles within larger facilities or corporate and divisional locations.

Key Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years of plant safety experience with a proven track record of success

· Bachelor's degree in Safety or Environmental Sciences or a related field

· Experience in a manufacturing environment is required

· Ability to establish strong working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization (site and executive level)
