Sales Director - Off-Highway & Truck Industry

Position Overview:

We are currently searching for a highly skilled and motivated Sales Director to lead our business development efforts in the off-highway and truck industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a successful track record in this specialized field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the off-highway and truck industry.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by establishing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry.
  • Cultivate and expand a network of industry contacts to support business development and collaboration.
  • Inspire and guide the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies that exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional services to our clients.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Create and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide detailed reports to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand recognition and promote our services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of sales and business development experience in the engineering service industry, specifically in the off-highway and truck sector.
  • Experience managing clients such as John Deere, Vermeer, Caterpillar, and Komatsu.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Thorough understanding of the off-highway and truck industry and its major players.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Strong leadership abilities with prior experience in managing sales teams.
  • Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client interactions and industry-specific events.
