Your Responsibilities
Sales Support & Solution Design (50%)
- Act as a trusted technical consultant, translating customer requirements into customized solutions.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create and present compelling Voice, Video, and Data solutions that drive business value.
- Lead technical pre-sales demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations to showcase product capabilities.
- Assist in creating proposals, responding to RFPs, and managing pricing, quoting, and contract lifecycles.
- Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data in CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent).
Engineering & Customer Engagement (50%)
- Provide support for post-sales deployment, initial equipment installations, and solution testing.
- Deliver ongoing exceptional support to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to improve customer experience and increase revenue.
- Maintain up-to-date customer network configurations and system documentation.
- Conduct technical training sessions for the Sales team and customers.
Qualifications and Requirements
Customer-Focused Mindset – Ability to translate sophisticated technical concepts into practical business solutions.
Sales Acumen – Proactive approach to supporting the sales process and identifying new revenue opportunities.
Communication & Collaboration – Excellent presentation skills, ability to engage customers, and effective teamwork.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Sales and Product teams with technical solution development.
- 5+ years of experience in IP Network Administration.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for client meetings (typically once a week).
- Cisco CCNA certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
Location & Work Environment
- Hybrid position – Remote work with required travel within a 100-mile radius of Baton Rouge (Preferably New Orleans, Lafayette, Covington).
- Must have reliable transportation for client meetings, typically occurring once a week.
