Sales Engineer
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Sales Engineer to drive the expansion of a ground-breaking industrial mixing technology. This position involves overseeing the sales process, delivering product demonstrations, and establishing solid customer relationships for a top-notch industrial mixer that reduces both mixing time and costs while providing transformative outcomes. The role necessitates extensive travel, with up to 50% of the time spent on the road, and is based at the company headquarters in Butte, Montana.
Responsibilities:
- Seek out leads, assess prospects, and manage all aspects of the sales process for both new and existing customers.
- Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, and targeted marketing efforts.
- Create and deliver compelling product demonstrations, showcasing the technology at field events, such as conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions.
- Address the technical and functional aspects of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Liaise with internal Engineering and Operations teams to effectively communicate customer needs and technical requirements.
- Travel throughout the United States to engage with customers and close sales.
- Maintain accurate customer data using Salesforce CRM.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and provide professional follow-up.
- Achieve or surpass monthly and annual sales goals while adhering to company policies.
- Present and demonstrate equipment at customer sites and trade events.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Demonstrated success in capital equipment sales with experience in industrial materials processing.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable in a technical environment with a rapidly expanding customer base.
- Organized, analytical, and adept at overcoming sales obstacles with creative solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
- U.S. Citizenship and a valid U.S. driver's license are mandatory.
- Proficiency in installing and demonstrating equipment at customer locations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with computers and mixing equipment.
- A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
