Sales Engineer

A dynamic opportunity awaits a seasoned Sales Engineer to drive the expansion of a groundbreaking industrial mixing technology. This role involves overseeing the sales process, conducting product demonstrations, and cultivating strong client relationships for a top-tier industrial mixer that reduces mixing time and costs while producing transformative results. The position requires extensive travel, with up to 50% of the time spent on the road, and is based at the company's headquarters in Butte, Montana.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase leads, assess prospects, and manage all aspects of the sales process for both existing and potential customers.
  • Generate leads through proactive outreach, client referrals, and targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Create and deliver engaging product demonstrations, representing the technology at various field events, such as conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions.
  • Address technical and functional aspects of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • Liaise with internal Engineering and Operations teams to convey customer requirements and technical needs.
  • Travel extensively throughout the U.S. sales territory to interact with clients and secure sales.
  • Maintain accurate customer data utilizing Salesforce CRM.
  • Take prompt action to resolve customer issues and provide professional follow-up.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and yearly sales targets while adhering to company policies.
  • Present and demonstrate equipment at customer sites and trade shows.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Demonstrated success in sales of capital equipment, with experience in industrial materials processing.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable operating within a technical environment and engaging with a rapidly expanding client base.
  • Organized, analytical, and skilled in overcoming sales challenges with creative solutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of capital equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Proficient in equipment installation and demonstration at client locations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with computers and mixing equipment.
  • A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
