Your Role & Responsibilities

Sales Support & Solution Design (50%)

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, customizing solutions to the specific needs of customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and present compelling Voice, Video, and Data solutions that provide business value.
  • Lead technical pre-sales demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations to showcase the capabilities of the products.
  • Assist in creating proposals, responding to RFPs, and managing pricing, quoting, and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data in CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent).

Engineering & Customer Engagement (50%)

  • Support post-sales deployment, installation of equipment, and solution testing.
  • Provide ongoing exceptional support to ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer network configurations and system documentation.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for the sales team and customers.

What You Bring to the Table

Technical Expertise – Solid foundation in IP Network Administration with experience in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex systems.
Customer-Focused Mindset – Ability to explain complex technical concepts in practical business terms.
Sales Acumen – Proactive approach to supporting the sales process and identifying new revenue opportunities.
Communication & Collaboration – Strong presentation skills, ability to engage customers, and work well with teams.
Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting Sales and Product teams with technical solution development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IP Network Administration.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for client meetings (typically once a week).

Preferred:

  • Cisco CCNA certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms

Location & Work Environment

  • Hybrid role – Work remotely, with travel required within a 100-mile radius of Baton Rouge (New Orleans, Lafayette, Covington preferred).
  • Must have reliable transportation for client meetings, typically once a week.
