Job Summary:

Sales Engineers play a crucial role in building strong customer relationships by offering technical support and expertise during the pre-sale phase. They work closely with Application Engineers to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Developing technical competence and application skills is essential for identifying opportunities for our products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to build trust and credibility through sales visits and deep product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with application engineers to effectively demonstrate product capabilities and solve customer challenges.

Qualifications/Requirements:

We are seeking a committed individual with a strong engineering aptitude and a natural ability for sales. The ideal candidate should have experience in identifying applications for automation products, such as PLCs, Robotics, Sensors, Thermal Systems, Motion Control, AC Drives, Vision, and Bar Code technology. Familiarity with these products and automation industry is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years in sales along with a solid engineering background is required.

Keywords: PLC, VFD, HMI, Servo/Motion, industrial automation, motion control, linear motion, robotic, encoder, Conveyors, palletization, RFID, barcode scanning systems, vision.

Compensation plan: negotiable base salary of $80k-$100k (no draw) plus unlimited commission and bonus. Total annual earnings potential ranges from $100k++ to $250k++++.
