Sales Engineer (Engineering Degree Required)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales within the commercial/industrial sector, specifically with industrial systems, manufacturing processes, high/low-pressure or water systems

  • Competitive salary range: $75,000 to $125,000

We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Engineer to join our growing company, specializing in providing engineered solutions to optimize various industrial and commercial systems. This role involves acting as a territory manager, maintaining and enhancing client relationships through regular service visits and technical expertise. The sales territory encompasses the Fon du Lac to Green Bay area. With consistent annual growth of 10-12%, we are continuously expanding our team by adding 1-2 new positions each year. Furthermore, successful candidates may be considered for future regional manager or sales manager roles. The successful candidate must possess a solid foundation in chemistry, mechanical engineering, automation, system design, and fiduciary responsibility. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Proactively maintaining and expanding customer relationships as a self-motivated and outgoing professional
  • Providing technical sales and support with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Managing a sales territory, which will require regular travel (up to 3+ hours of driving)
  • Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting company growth
  • Demonstrating a proven track record in sales, customer retention, and collaborative work
  • Applying mechanical and technical expertise, particularly in the areas of water treatment, water chemistry, or fluid process control
  • Managing mid-market and large accounts, consistently exceeding sales goals

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering)
  • 3 or more years of B2B sales experience in the commercial or industrial sectors (experience with industrial systems, manufacturing processes, high/low-pressure systems, or water treatment is required)
  • Strong foundation in mechanical engineering, chemistry, automation, and system design
  • Resides within a 45-minute commute of the Appleton, WI area
  • Demonstrated consistent performance and success in previous roles
  • Willingness to travel to accounts within the assigned territory (which may involve driving for 3+ hours per day)
  • Must be a US citizen or possess a permanent Green Card
