Our client is a global provider of top-notch court reporting, videography, videoconferencing, interpretation, and trial support services in the United States and abroad. We are led by innovative entrepreneurs and seeking a talented Sales Manager to contribute to our future growth.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, training, motivating, and developing our sales team to achieve exceptional performance. The Manager will play a key role in implementing targeted action plans, sales initiatives, and ongoing communication to drive the success of our representatives. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales with a dotted line to the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of the Company.

SALES MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the sales team by overseeing the activities and performance of Account Executives and developing individual sales plans to ensure revenue growth.
  • Hold Account Executives accountable for the quality and completeness of account planning, and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Conduct hiring, training, and performance management to ensure staff competency and the achievement of sales goals.
  • Direct team members to identify new business opportunities and drive account growth. Provide ongoing feedback, guidance, and motivation to team members.
  • Ensure Account Executives maintain disciplined pipeline health, quality, and quantity. Collaborate on best practices, insights, and available programs to minimize pipeline variances.
  • Develop and hold teams accountable for fostering a deep understanding of their clients' needs and priorities.
  • Conduct annual employee performance reviews and weekly check-ins with individual Account Executives and the team.
  • Track and meet planned sales goals by analyzing performance data and making forecasts.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to assess performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement them.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Court reporting industry experience required.
  • Strongly preferred: Technology industry experience (Salesforce).
  • At least five years of sales management experience required.
  • Proven success managing and directing a sales team of at least ten.

Base salary: $150K-$250K OTE $350K
