Office Products Sales Manager
Sales Manager - Northern New Jersey
Our client, a leading global manufacturer in printer, copier, and office solutions, is seeking a Sales Manager for their office in Northern New Jersey. The Sales Manager will oversee a team responsible for selling specific business system products and services, including hardware and software.
This position is a hybrid role, with in-office days at the discretion of the hiring manager. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to the office.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage a team of approximately 7 sales representatives, responsible for selling hardware and software solutions to companies in the assigned territory or account list.
· Train, coach, and develop new and current sales representatives, ensuring they meet clear goals and achieve 100% of quota.
· Conduct performance reviews, including assessing monthly plans.
· Develop accurate forecasts with sales representatives and conduct "ride days" accordingly.
· Maintain product proficiency and stay updated on current and future promotions.
· Accurately document and submit notes and paperwork in a timely manner.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
· 7-10 years of related experience, including management experience (exempt and non-exempt employees).
· Industry expertise and knowledge of company's products and competitors is essential.
Anticipated base salary for this position is in the range of $85,000-95,000, plus commission (OTE between 150-200K) according to the applicable plan. The role includes a transportation allowance, laptop, cell phone, and training. Excellent benefits are provided from day 1.
