Pharmaceutical Sales Rep

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Our client, a leading company in North America and Europe, specializes in providing innovative solutions to improve efficiency in hospital pharmacies. They are currently seeking candidates with strong sales skills to join their Sales and Marketing Team as a Sales Representative. This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA and requires 40-50% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Coordinator to develop and execute the North American sales plan.
  • Manage key accounts and generate leads to meet sales targets.
  • Attend trade shows and engage in activities to support sales goals.
  • Become familiar with our client's full product line.
  • Create sales strategies and explore new sales channels in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist.
  • Convert prospective leads into long-term clients.
  • Evaluate customer needs and demonstrate the effectiveness of our client's products.
  • Work with Austrian counterparts and the Pittsburgh team to support business development.
  • Generate sales analytics reports and provide sales forecasting.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and participate in strategy meetings with international colleagues.
  • Analyze trade show data and follow up with potential clients.
  • Manage trade show logistics.
  • Contribute to social media content, case studies, and white papers.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and manage expenses.
  • Participate in strategic planning and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience with a successful track record (3-5 years).
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree required, or equivalent experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a marketing background.
  • Ability to coordinate group activities and achieve sales targets.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and travel extensively.

Preferred Skills:

  • International business experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior sales experience in the medical or healthcare field is strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Leadership and collaborative experience are essential.
