Skills and Experience:
This is a senior level position that involves leading either large commercial projects or small projects and handling scheduling responsibilities. The main responsibilities include gathering and analyzing project information, and creating comprehensive documents that help identify and resolve design discrepancies and problems. This role also focuses on improving project planning and scheduling efficiency. The candidate will work with the project team and trade partners to develop detailed schedules. They will also monitor projects based on set schedules and departmental procedures, and ensure the input, analysis, and monitoring of design documents, procurement, and construction schedules. This role requires strong planning, scheduling, cost analysis techniques, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to evaluate, analyze, and modify standards in problem-solving efforts.

- Strong working knowledge of ERP cost management tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera 6.

- 7-10 years previous industrial or commercial construction experience is required.
- B.S. Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred.
Essential Job Duties:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all project-scheduling activities for assigned projects. They will create schedules based on their expertise in schedule development and the construction industry.
- Produce preliminary schedules independently for team discussion and refinement.
- Preferably, the ideal candidate will have strong skills in scheduling and 3D modeling.
- Maintain a database of estimated durations for each activity and the overall project duration.
- Develop the baseline schedule by properly sequencing work activities.
- Oversee all project scheduling activities and provide regular status updates, forecasts, and reports as needed.
- Collaborate with the project team to create project schedule layouts, alternate schedules, and progress measurements.
- Review and critique monthly schedule updates from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy.
- Understand the project's flow and logistics requirements.
- Support ongoing projects by discussing project status with the project manager and discipline leads, identifying areas for improvement and addressing delays.
- Suggest alternative plans to keep the project on schedule.
- Perform additional duties as requested by project management.
