Speech-language pathology Assistants are valuable members of our team. They have completed relevant academic coursework, fieldwork, and on-the-job training, and they carry out tasks under the guidance and supervision of ASHA-certified speech-language pathologists.

Job Description

A School SLPA supports a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in evaluating and treating patients with language, speech, fluency, and voice disorders or impairments. Assistants play a crucial role in patient care and research by implementing speech and language programs designed by the SLP and collecting data to evaluate program effectiveness.


  • Active speech therapy license

  • At least 1 year of professional speech therapy experience
