Senior Sales Representative - Secaucus, NJ

Our client is a leading provider of information management services with a presence in major cities across the country. They are currently looking for a skilled sales professional to join their team as a Senior Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling document solutions software, outsourced hosting, BPO, and workflow solutions.


Base salary plus commission, with potential earnings of $150,000 in the first year.

The Position:

The primary role of the Senior Sales Representative is to maximize sales of information management services to both new and existing customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting sales targets for assigned territory/accounts by engaging with established customers and developing new prospects
  • Generating leads and prospecting to maintain a healthy pipeline of potential accounts
  • Qualifying, researching, tracking, and developing leads into viable business opportunities
  • Effectively communicating the value proposition to various levels within an organization
  • Creating compelling business cases, proposals, and presentations for sales opportunities
  • Negotiating terms and closing sales agreements
  • Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to increase awareness of services and solutions
  • Maintaining a strong knowledge of the industry, technology trends, competitive offerings, and customer requirements, and providing valuable feedback to the company


  • Minimum of 3 years of consultative sales experience in enterprise or large account sales
  • Proven track record of selling document management software or SaaS
  • Strong ability to prospect and sell to new accounts, as well as upsell within existing accounts
  • Previous experience with document imaging (EDM, content management, BPM, etc.) is a plus
  • Familiarity with selling outsourced services (SaaS, cloud-based model) is advantageous
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with constant changes
  • Technical awareness and ability to engage with IT personnel
  • Excellent relationship building skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of business processes and document/information flows between departments
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of functional areas within organizations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
