Senior Chemical Engineer
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Chemical Engineer with a strong interest in research and development of innovative chemical processes. This role focuses on the design and optimization of mixing technologies for various industrial applications, such as energetics, pharmaceuticals, batteries, and energy storage. The position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects, involving advanced acoustic mixing technology, from small-scale experiments to full-scale production, covering both batch and continuous mixing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on assigned projects, ensuring successful completion and achievement of product and process development goals.
- Apply advanced chemical engineering principles to conduct research for solving complex challenges.
- Design and optimize chemical processes, including mixing, mass transport, heat transfer, scaling, process control, and process optimization.
- Create protocols, research reports, and grant proposals, and effectively present findings to teams, clients, investors, and collaborators.
- Address product and process issues through technical investigations, while actively participating in the commercialization of new products.
- Utilize expertise in various mixing designs (solid-solid, liquid-solid, liquid-liquid) and fundamental knowledge of conventional mixing processes.
- Occasionally travel internationally as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical engineering, with a background in product or process development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
