We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Strategy Manager to perform advanced analysis and administration of our company's compensation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing compensation projects, conducting data analysis, reviewing policies, and overseeing the annual merit cycles, among other tasks.

  • Participate in strategic and operational initiatives to enhance the compensation program, either as a team leader or team member.
  • Analyze compensation, market, and other data to provide recommendations.
  • Research external market trends, competition, and business intelligence to ensure our Compensation Strategy remains competitive. Additionally, research internal data and projects to make recommendations for new compensation strategies.
  • Develop and document internal business processes, making recommendations for process improvement.
  • Provide advanced analysis and recommendations for business processes during a new Workday implementation.
  • Lead the development and introduction of new compensation programs.
  • Administer and oversee day-to-day compensation administration, while researching and analyzing compensation-related issues.
  • Collaborate with leadership at all levels of the organization to evaluate and provide data-driven recommendations for compensation strategy.
  • Perform various operational compensation responsibilities, such as market analysis, salary ranges, job descriptions, and compensation communications.
  • Audit, develop, maintain, and implement compensation policies/programs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Analyze exempt and administrative jobs to determine appropriate market targets based on geographic location.
  • Develop educational and training content for compensation programs and initiatives.
  • Test compensation programs in ERP and develop test scenarios for other departments to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage annual merit cycles and the administration of the annual exempt merit and bonus program.


  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, such as human resources, accounting, finance, or mathematics preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience in advanced compensation analysis or an equivalent role.
  • Ability to work remotely and collaboratively with HR departments, business leaders, and operational leaders.
  • Experience with ERP implementation preferred. Workday experience required.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong ability to analyze and organize large amounts of data and provide solutions based on internal and external factors.
  • Effective project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and effectively communicate and train others.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss compensation and projects with organizational leaders.
  • Experience creating and delivering online training materials.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws related to compensation and HR is required.
