Senior Sales Director - Semiconductor Industry
Location: San Francisco, CA
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Director to lead and expand our presence in the semiconductor industry, specifically focusing on ASIC design. This role requires a strategic sales leader with strong industry connections and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in semiconductor services and 10-20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry at a Senior Manager or Director level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in semiconductor services, with a specific focus on ASIC design.
- Establish strategic partnerships with key clients, OEMs, and semiconductor companies.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Engage with customers, build strong relationships, and provide technical sales support to close high-value deals.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and product teams to align business strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, and revenue targets using data-driven approaches.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10-20 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong background in ASIC design.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor services (design services, IP, or related consulting).
- Proven track record of sales leadership at a Senior Manager or Director level.
- Deep understanding of ASIC design cycles, semiconductor manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Strong network within the semiconductor industry, including OEMs, fabless companies, and IP providers.
- Ability to navigate complex, technical B2B sales cycles with high-value deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to relocate to the Bay Area if not already a resident.
