We are seeking an exceptional candidate who possesses a diverse background encompassing both public and private projects to excel in this role.

As a senior member of our client services division, you will drive the execution of assigned projects and tasks. Your responsibilities will include providing mentorship, guidance, and training to junior staff members. Working closely with both our clients and internal teams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination and cooperation.

As a senior-level contributor to our client services team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing a team of junior technical professionals. Together, you will generate comprehensive construction plans that effectively facilitate project development and implementation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead, organize, and oversee the daily engineering activities of the assigned staff to successfully fulfill client project objectives. Prioritize tasks for the team to align with client, team, and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader in initial client meetings for new project proposals and kickoffs. This involvement ensures a comprehensive understanding of project nuances, aiding in proposal preparation and accurate task execution.
  • Support the Team Leader in creating well-structured client proposals, including clear scopes of work, pricing, project schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Evaluate and approve the technical strategies for project tasks and intermediate and final work products. This oversight ensures alignment with client objectives and compliance with relevant regulations, as well as maintaining company standards for quality assurance and control.
  • Review essential research and data for project design, such as zoning stipulations, updated design benchmarks, existing utility data, environmental considerations, and topographical insights.
  • Engage with relevant government agencies as necessary, participating in meetings to ensure project compliance with agency standards and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Identify instances where client-requested work exceeds the original contract scope. Facilitate the issuance and approval of change orders before proceeding with any additional tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, coupled with a minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering design related to land and site development.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Georgia.
  • Proficiency in CAD software is essential.
