We are seeking a Lead Counsel to join our growing real estate law firm in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will handle various litigation matters related to property restrictions, contract disputes, construction defects, and other real estate issues. Job Responsibilities:

• Submit a cover letter detailing your skills and background
• Must have admission to practice law in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in civil litigation
• Prior work experience that demonstrates dedication and hard work
• Proficiency in using Microsoft operating systems and other sophisticated software
• Availability during business hours, as well as some evenings and weekends for client meetings
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage a high project load and administrative staff
• Thorough knowledge and independent handling of assigned cases, whether assigned or personally originated, in a diverse case load
• Lead client corporate meetings
• Proficiency in managing an electronic task list and billing
• Maintain strong relationships by keeping clients informed on case status
• Proficiency in all phases and tasks of a case, including drafting complaints and answers, discovery, witness preparation, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, trial conduct, and appellate work
