Senior Government Sales Manager

Our client is a leading provider of nationwide wireless services with over forty-three million wireless subscribers.

Position

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the role of Senior Government Sales Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing our government sales strategy, working closely with our front-line government sellers. You will lead and manage a team of 8+ sellers, providing guidance, motivation, and coaching to achieve exceptional sales performance. This position is remote with the requirement to live within commuting distance of New York City.

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute effective sales generation strategies to support the acquisition of new government business.

· Identify opportunities for customer retention and growth of our existing client base.

· Lead and manage a team of 8+ sellers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

· Motivate, coach, and guide the team to achieve exceptional sales performance and meet targets.

· Provide support for non-selling and administrative functions as necessary.

· Take on additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

· 2-4 years of experience in team management and 2-4 years of sales management, specifically selling to government agencies

· Expertise in government procurement, preferably with wireless experience.

· Strong strategic leadership skills.

· Proficiency in customer acquisition strategies.

· Bachelor’s degree.

Base Salary: $110,000-$190,000, OTE: $200,000-$280,000
